MOTOR SPORT® offers two types of tuning box for petrol engines: a box that connects to the engine compartment and is dedicated to turbo or compressor engines (ST RACE), and a box that connects to the OBD2 diagnostic socket in the vehicle's cabin (OBD2 RACE).
The ST RACEtuning box is dedicated to turbo petrol engines, and connects to your engine via 1, 2 or 3 pairs of original manufacturer connectors. Optimized parameters include turbo pressure (a configuration that does not affect engine reliability), ignition timing, richness (lambda value) and injection times.
The OBD2 RACEtuning box is designed for naturally-aspirated and turbocharged petrol vehicles, direct and indirect injection. It connects to the OBD (OnBoard Diagnostics) diagnostic socket inside your engine. Our OBD2 RACE works like a reprogramming program, except that it doesn't replace the original mapping; when the box is removed, the ECU recovers its manufacturer's data.
